I purchased this to fill it with my mother's china and silver, as well as my inlaw's fine crystal glassware. All were gifts and heirlooms for generations to come. But I really think that packing them away for later is not for the best. They are to be used and enjoyed, and this buffet will now allow us to do just that. I love the deep dark color as well as the brushed nickel knobs. I do not love that the drawers have no runners, as they can be stiff to open. Also, the packing it came in was so difficult to open when the delivery man was here, I sent him away after 25 mins of trying to get the packaging open, still unable to inspect the entire package. And there was a dent and separation of the wood veneer on the front left corner of the top piece of the cabinet. Because the delivery to the threshold does not include uncrating the item, and the item was EXTREMELY difficult to unpack, I would opt for premium shipping in the future. Even for the extra price, I would opt for it...because now I am stuck with accepting a package that is imperfect, and on the most exposed upper corner of the piece. And I may or may not be able to fix. My bad, my liability. But I am NOT satisfied that the package appears as strong as steel, is difficult as all get out to open (took me another 45 mins to unpack after the delivery man left), and I am to live with the damage on a new piece of furniture. - Cheez
