They purchased and furnished this house as a two- or three-times-a-year escape hatch from their normal routine; hence, the storage is minimal. Circumstances have changed, we are now renting it from them (long-term), and we need storage. We had a plastic shelving unit in this space, but I had to look at all my mixing bowls, pans, and appliances every time I walked into the kitchen. This is SO NICE!
