Today, Peg Perego remains a family-owned business. Peg Perego's philosophy of offering innovative, value-laden products remains as it was when Giuseppe Perego started the firm more than 50 years ago. Peg Perego employs almost 1,500 people worldwide and operates in nearly 1.2 million square feet of factory and office space in Italy, the United States, Canada and Brazil. These facilities undergo frequent updating and enlargement, including the recent 125,000 square foot expansion of the Fort Wayne, Indiana, facility that now totals nearly 450,000 square feet. Peg Perego has never rested on past products or designs but continues to stay current with parents' changing needs and new research that highlights the health and safety needs of infants and juveniles.
